Nah, you’re probably right - I don’t really pay attention to the meta because I don’t care, but Intel has always been a bit of a black sheep.

It seems especially weird when the universal console and experimental weapon are temporal in nature (granted, Temporal is the ship’s secondary specialization).

Though if any faction benefits from the Intel spec, it’s the Romulans and their battle cloak.

The vertical warbird has been kicked around as a concept since the TNG days - I’m a little suprised we haven’t gotten one before now.

Slight update: it does look there there’s a fix in the works.

For sure, I get it. I wish .world federation was more reliable, but we seem to run into challenges a couple times per year. We’re always looking to improve stuff like that.

Not really your point, but I can’t help but have some thoughts on this:

1. Ultimately, the instance is exactly as active as its users want it to be, for better or worse.

2. If we were overly concerned about size, we’d have stayed on Reddit.

Well, I guess the DECA era has officially begun. We’ll see what happens next…

Looking at our metrics, there’s a chance things are starting to improve now. It’s too early to know for sure, though.

Yeah…I’ve been assuming they’ll do a separate post for consoles closer to the date, but who knows with the new management?

I’m not really interested in casting blame - the Fediverse is complicated, and can be affected by any number of things.

All I can say is that we haven’t been able to find an issue on our end, and at the same time, federation doesn’t seem completely broken - just about 10 days slow, and only in the one direction.

I just want to provide a brief update on this.

It’s still happening. As near as we can tell, there’s nothing we can do on our end. Federation from .world is just ~1.5 weeks behind, but it’s still happening.

No problem - we’re unfortunately unable to delete the messages themselves the way we can remove a public comment, but rest assured we will fire the account into the sun (or, you know, just ban them from messaging our local users).

I also know that the admins of other servers are aware of the issue, so I encourage everyone to make reports, regardless of their home server.
