I’m honestly shocked that nobody in this thread mentioned the neocolony’s heterosexism against its own inhabitants. There was an infamous incident in 2015 when somebody stabbed a participant in a pride parade, but more recently violence has only continued to increase.

Somebody here mentioned the absence of same‐sex marriage, but that barely scratches the surface.
