I asked if people chose iPhone for the blue bubbles elsewhere a couple days ago, and while there was some good discourse on that post, the blue bubbles definitely also came up as a reason.

In my experience, when people find out my texts are green, they oftentimes would rather switch to a different platform altogether like Instagram or just not text at all.

Is this actually a deal-breaker in friendships out there?

Deal-breaker in friendship? Hell no. If a friendship is defined by what phone you are using, the world is close to ending I think. Deal-breaker for me personally (as in: I need to use Android device): yes. I’m not making the switch to something Google.

I have the impression they are a bit more privacy minded. Expensive, but privacy minded. I don’t feel like the product when using Apple stuff. I feel like the product when using Google stuff.

I guess that will just be an impression, but an important impression for my mind…
