You joke, but it is common for generic anticommunists to blame us for the rise of fascism and neofascism.
This one I’ve experienced first hand. They blame the rise of “degenerate values” from communists/leftists in “unmoral democracies” as the push for the average man or woman (white, usually) becoming more CHUD. Or they are slightly more cognizant, blame worsening material conditions on neoliberals but thinking that we’re master-minding/puppeteering neo-lib parties.
