It’s never been a better time to switch to Firefox::Firefox’s extended add-on support for mobile is coming with version 120, a good reason to switch to the browser permanently.
Inb4 people start shilling Brave, it’s spyware and nobody cares about your shitcoins
I use Firefox exclusively on Desktop and Brave exclusively on mobile. Firefox on Mobile still has performance issues for me.
I’ve come to much prefer firebox but I have used brave for a long time and people aren’t being fair

Shitcoins are optional got disabled on day 1 and never saw em again.

Worked as advertised (pun intended), fastest browser at the time and never saw a single ad.

Spying? Cant be worse then chrome. It is one of the reasons i am now with with firefox.
But i am not convinced firefox isnt spying somewhat too. Why can i not selfhost my browser profiles instead of syncing all my details with mozzila servers?
Firefox sync is e2ee

“Never been a better time”? What about when IE 6/7 was dominating and Firefox came out with add-ons and speed of updates? I’d argue that was the best time for Firefox.
switch?
Yay, another step to getting to feature parity with Firefox 68!
Now give me a tabs that I can also use in phone mode and keyboard shortcuts!
I mean, it’s only been 3 years since new FF on Android cut all the good bits from FF68 and before.

A few great Add-ons have worked for a while already - I use Dark Reader, uBlock, and PrivacyBadger, and Read Aloud, but I am looking forward to adding Translate, container add-ons for Facebook and Amazon, Kagi search, Tabliss, etc.
Is this the build of Firefox that drops support for native UI elements?
Does it’s better Firefox than Brave on Android? I mean what are the real advantages of using Firefox?
If possible, switch to a non-Mozilla Firefox derivative!
I heard websites are loading slower on that browser bruh.
Vague statement. You have any more information or sources?
Sites are purposefully adding delays to firebox browser IDs or perhaps non chrome id’s depending on sources. . https://www.zdnet.com/article/youtube-is-slowing-video-loads-on-firefox-heres-how-to-fix-that/
Ah yes I heard about that. I suppose it’s up to the interpretation of “loading”. Firefox still loads everything as fast, including the code where Google tells the browser to wait for 5 seconds. But the average user does not care about the technicalities of it. Only that they get a degraded experience on Firefox.
IMO that gives me even more reason to use Firefox. I’m not going to be bullies or deceived into giving in to corporate malfeasance.
