Ford Motor said on Tuesday it had made a new comprehensive contract offer in an effort to resolve a 19-day old targeted strike by the United Auto Workers but said a dispute over battery plants remained unresolved.

    GM: Kills CarPlay and Android Auto, and aggressively, stays away from the bargaining table, lays off striking workers.

    Ford: Says they will continue to support infotainment options drivers want, stays at the bargaining table, and isn’t trying to put the screws to striking workers. Also, Ford’s EVs are nicer looking.

    My next American vehicle will be a Ford. Fuck GM.

      Ford is going down the subscription route… therefore they can also fuck off. Polestar is looking more appealing than their Mustang ev…

        Yeah, Volvo / Polestar is one of the more interesting manufacturers these days. They’re pretty aggressively cutting over to EVs, they were an early adopters for Android Automotive, and their industrial design is pretty on point.

        Also, bang for your buck, Volvo Polestar often opens more features and better build quality than their competitors.
