Oh wow I rarely find people who know about When They Cry. Now I’m interested in seeing more about the game.

He thinks the president should hire/fire anyone they want, but they dislike the people the president has been choosing.
How secret of it. Surely this is a distraction, right?
All? Unlikely. But some? A lot harder to say. You’re asking for an opinion-based prediction at this point. I think they’ll probably eventually try to get the most outspoken critics, but I also think that’s a good time to not go silent. You get organized.
It already has. I have gotten more spam calls in 2025 than I’ve gotten in the 5 or 10-ish years prior to that.
Based on play and replay, it seems to be either Payday 2 or Borderlands 2.
Payday2, especially if you have tons of builds and DLC, is a fantastic brain-off mob shooter where you can slightly improve/perfect your build and gameplay with each run. For some reason it just works for me.
Borderlands 2: fun guns; solid story; visuals and mechanics that mostly hold up today. It’s just a good time and another skill-tree builder game where you get to feel like a god if you’ve assembled your skill tree right. The NG+ modes are a bit of a slog, but playthrough 1 is just a solid time.
Terrible idea. Every time I look at toggling it on just to test, it explicitly lists features that I use as ones which will be disabled by the switch.
Honestly I don’t hate it if the ads are tailored enough. I don’t ever directly click ads, but I have seen products before that wormed into my mind and had me looking for similar/the same later. I don’t hate advertisements for legit products that actually fit my interest. I only hate ads because of how many of them are in my face and trying to convince me I need something that I don’t.
And what about plastic bottles. Like, not the packaging type but just plastic reusable waterbottles?
They’re either beating it back or delaying it. I hope it’s the former, but I fear it’s the latter.
Yeah, they are lucky to have me. Instant access to me via phonecall is not one of the reasons, but that’s fine because they don’t need instant access via phonecall.
There is plenty of room for nuance, there’s just no nuance to be had.
Yup. One day of no shopping means the big corps just weather a day of lower purchases and the next day people will be buying the stuff they skipped out on friday. It’s hardly a noticeable blip to them.
Aw. I get why this happens to games, but it’s still sad to see.
It’s been fairly blatant for a while now. The seig heil is coming out now that they feel they’ve won. The goal is for the US to fall this time.
I’m guessing it’s a split between considering the govt an enemy but not the people, along with people who think it’s nearing-but-not-quite an enemy.
Depends a bit, but yes? My weekly groceries is like $150+ (closer to $170 or so most weeks) for two of us, and that’s living in a pretty shit-ass cheap state.
You can do both in a title.
Unfortunately, the military technically answers to the president.
uhhh, you also don’t own Greenland
