I lost a friend to the hair of the dog - turned out he wasn’t just hungover but had a dangerous (but treatable) lung infection.
Good luck with the drinking - I’ve not touched a drop in 20 years now, but it was a tough road getting there.
I’ve massively reduced my intake, though I’m not dry. Bit of a way to go though
