The Right’s assault on education for the past half century is a massive tantrum over desegregation. The goal is to return to whites only schools, which can be done easily with privatized education.
The mask isn’t just off, it’s on the floor and they’re stomping on the mask.
I get the impression they’re stringing the masks on the crosses and setting fires.

My first read of this headline had me thinking “that’s strange, gendered bathrooms are still pretty normal, they can’t possibly have been banned, could they?”
…it hadn’t even passed within miles of my mind that this was talking about racial segregation. I can’t even comprehend this level of regression.
They’re telegraphing their next move. As well as know, when they run out of immigrants, all minorities will be open season.

Segregated facilities are already illegal, including language about them in contracts is redundant, because contracts which compel illegal behavior are unenforceable.
